PN16 fittings look identical to PN10 from the outside on small sizes and are often substituted by mistake. The wall section is thicker and the socket depth differs, so a PN16 pipe cemented into a PN10 elbow creates a joint that will not hold its rated pressure.
This range runs DN20 to DN315 and covers the same shapes as PN10, plus blind flanges and vanstone assemblies for equipment connections.
