PVDF fittings are almost all butt fusion, because the material’s melt behaviour makes a reliable socket joint harder to achieve than in PVC. The important accessory is the transition: PVDF-to-PFA adaptors and instrument connectors let a high-purity line meet sensors without a metal wetted part.
