Clear PVC Pipe and Fittings

Transparent PVC-U for sight lines, inspection sections and demonstration rigs.

Clear PVC is the same base material as grey PVC-U with the pigment removed, so it carries the same pressure rating and joins with the same solvent cement. It is used where the operator needs to see the flow: strainers, dosing points, laboratory rigs and training equipment.

Note that the transparent grade is more sensitive to UV and to solvent attack than pigmented pipe, so it is normally specified for indoor or shielded service.
